The Chamber Agri-Business Committee is dedicated to ensuring the heritage of agriculture in Hancock County by promoting educational opportunities and outlining the vital role of agri-business in Hancock County by introducing and exploring value-added agricultural opportunities in Northwest Ohio.
Interested in getting involved with the Agri-Business Committee?
The Agri-Business Committee awards scholarships to area students pursuing college studies in agriculture, home economics, natural resources, or other related fields. Applicants can either be high school seniors pursuing further studies or current college students enrolled in an agriculturally related field and must live or go to school in Hancock County. The deadline to apply is January 31, 2025.
Each spring, the Agri-Business Committee sells Whole-Hog Bulk Sausage to benefit the scholarship fund. Sausage can be either seasoned (salt and pepper) or unseasoned.
Ambassador Committee
The Ambassadors represent the Chamber at official functions such as grand openings, ribbon cuttings, and groundbreaking ceremonies. The committee promotes growth and retention of Chamber membership and presents a quarterly customer service award to a deserving individual in the community. Last year, the Ambassadors participated in over 50 events! This committee is a great way to network in our community!
Established in 1999, the goals of the Technology Infrastructure Committee (TIC) are to stimulate economic development and the desirability to live, work, and play in Findlay and Hancock County through the use of technology. Meetings are held regularly on the last Friday of each month from 2-4 p.m. in the Chamber Boardroom.
